Taylor Swift is your average teenage girl. Though she may be a multi-platinum selling superstar, she still has the same insecurities and emotions as all girls her age. That's why Taylor never googles herself online -- she doesn't want to read anything mean written about her!
Unlike Miley Cyrus and other young celebs, Taylor Swift projects a wholesome image that many people love. So why would anyone write anything bad about the country music sweetheart in the first place?
Apparently they do. Or at least Taylor believes they do and doesn't want to know about it.
"I don't have thick skin," Taylor said. "If somebody says something mean, it WILL hurt my feelings. Anything bad that I read about myself, I'm just like ... [fakes sobbing]."
To deal with all the negative stuff she believes is posted on various blogs and websites, Taylor just doesn't search for herself. Period.
"No, you can't Google yourself or your self-esteem will just go like that," she said while making a nosedive gesture with her hand. "You'll read something that's not true or you'll read just like a little fact that's like a little off base and you'll be like, 'Nobody knows what's really going on! Like, what's going on?'"
Taylor Swift really shouldn't be worried though because if she did google herself she'd see how loved she is. There are very few (if any) nasty things written about her. Compare that to Miley Cyrus and Lindsay Lohan and Taylor would consider herself lucky.
